Fundraiser To Support Wells Students From California

Please join the Wells College athletics department in supporting three Wells College students, residents of the Paradise, Calif. area, whose lives have been impacted by the recent destructive fires in Northern California.

Members of the Express swimming, women's volleyball, and women's basketball teams will be selling raffle tickets at the Dining Hall during lunch hours on Thursday, Nov. 29 and Friday, Nov. 30, and continuing Monday, Dec. 3, Tuesday, Dec. 4, and Wednesday, Dec. 5. Raffle tickets will also be sold at this weekend's swim meet and basketball games Saturday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. at the Schwartz Athletic Center.

Four prize baskets will be awarded at the drawing on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are available at a prices of one ticket for $2, three tickets for $5, and seven tickets for $10. After purchasing tickets, buyers can choose to put them in the drawing for their preferred prize baskets:

OddLine Basket – Purple and yellow themed finals weeks snacks and a $50 iTunes gift card

EvenLine Basket – Green and blue themed finals weeks snacks and a $50 iTunes gift card

Athletics Basket – Items to support your fitness and workouts including a backpack, yoga mat, foam roller, water bottle, and a $50 Visa gift card

Wells Spirit Basket – Thank you to the Admissions, Advancement, and Alumni Engagement offices for compiling this basket that includes a backpack, Wells apparel, merchandise and drinkware, and a $50 iTunes gift card

Winners do not need to be present to collect their winning baskets, just be sure to include your name and phone number on the tickets when you submit them.

All proceeds will be distributed to the three students affected by these devastating fires. Additional donations will be accepted by Tara Ruckh or Trish George via cash, or check made payable to Wells College.
