Join Wells SAAC in Promoting Mental Health Awareness

Please join the Wells College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in helping to support and raise awareness for mental health initiatives this Friday, April 5.

Wells College student-athletes and members of the community will be wearing blue on Friday to show support for these issues, and blue pinwheels have been on display in the lawn in front of the Schwartz Athletic Center throughout the week in leading up to Friday's event. Members of the Wells community are invited to participate in this initiative.

Athletes in many sports often demonstrate high achievement in physical health and strength, but studies done in the last several years show that populations of college athletes show symptoms of depression.
