NEAC Announces 2011-12 Scholar-Athlete Selections

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. - Twenty student-athletes from Wells College represented 10 of the Express' 16 varsity programs as the North Eastern Athletic Conference announced the members of the 2011-12 Scholar-Athlete Selection list this past week.

In order to be selected to the list, a student-athlete must have achieved a combined grade point average of 3.40 or higher for the fall and spring semesters and must have been in good standing on his or her team. Five different members of the softball team at Wells earned placement on the list, leading the school in that category.  Additionally, five student-athletes who played multiple sports were honored by the conference.
