Dylan Nolan Earns NEAC Weekly Award

Wells College baseball freshman Dylan Nolan was selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending April 30, 2017. Nolan helped Wells win three of four games over the weekend against conference opponents Gallaudet University and Lancaster Bible College.

In six games, he had a .350 batting average, .458 on-base percentage and .850 slugging percentage. Nolan had seven hits in 20 plate appearances with three runs scored, three doubles, two triples and a home run. He also contributed six RBIs and drew four walks. Nolan played a big role in a 3-1 win over Lancaster Bible on Apr. 30, hitting a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to power Wells to a walk-off win.

Nolan is the fourth player to earn a NEAC weekly award for baseball joining Brandon Shirley and Jared Strait (March 27) and Zach Kemp (April 3).

Wells is in action Thursday, May 4 at Ithaca College at 4 p.m.
