Baseball Winning Streak Ends At Four Games

The Wells College baseball team saw its four-game winning streak come to an end Friday, March 16 at Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Express were defeated 22-1 by MacMurray College in the fourth game of the week at the Ripken Experience facility.

MacMurray scored at least once in each of the first six innings including nine runs in the bottom of the sixth.

Wells scored its run in the top of the eighth on a solo homer by Andrew Babcock.

A.J. Nesci also had a hit for Wells.

Wells is 6-2 on the year. The team concludes its week of spring games at Myrtle Beach with a noon contest against Albertus Magnus on Saturday, March 17.
