Reading, PA – Less than 24 hours removed from an overtime loss to St. Vincent College yesterday afternoon, the Wells College field hockey team fell 5-0 to the Albright College Lions Sunday afternoon in Reading, PA. Express goalie Martha Knowlan finished with six saves while Michelline Moore led the offense with two shots on goal. Kelly Zepp finished with two goals while Beth Moran had three assists to pace the Lions who improved to 5-7 with the victory.
The Lions used an overpowering offense and stellar defense finishing with 16 shots while holding the Express to just three shots on the day.
The Express will next host Marywood University on Thursday, October 8th at 4:00 pm at Wells.
