SECOND HALF SURGE SINKS EXPRESS

(Oswego, N.Y.)─ The Oswego State Lakers scored five goals in the second half en route to a 7-0 victory over the Wells College field hockey team on Thursday in Oswego. Madeline Bass led the Express in goal finishing with seven saves. Kerry Collins paced the Lakers with three goals and two assist. The loss drops the Express to 1-8 on the year, while the Lakers improve to 4-6.  

For the game, Oswego held the advantage in shots 26-2 and penalty corners 14-7.  

The Express next play Hood College on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in Frederick, Md.
