Student-Athletes Assist Whitney Point Youth Club Field Hockey
WHITNEY POINT, N.Y. - Members of the Wells College field hockey squad recently assisted members of the Whitney Point Youth Club Field Hockey team. All 13 members of the team worked with the participants, ranging from kindergarten to the sixth grade, on skills such as dribbling, passing and dodging. The older grade schoolers were introduced to goaltending equipment and all participants were able to shoot on freshman backstop Sydney Line (Northport, N.Y.).
