Houghton Pulls Away For Field Hockey Win Over Wells

The Wells College field hockey team played its first road game of the season and fell 7-0 against Houghton on Saturday, Sept. 3 at Burke Field.

Wells trailed 2-0 at halftime, and Houghton pulled away with five goals in the second half.

Wells goalkeeper Sydney Line made 10 saves on 16 shots in the match over 57 minutes of work. Kelsey Kokosa replaced Line in goal for the last 13 minutes. Lexi Cohen had a defensive save for the Express.

The Express returns to play on Sunday, Sept. 4 at Cedar Crest.
