NEAC Honors For Wells Field Hockey

Following the team's first win of the season at Cedar Crest College on Sunday, two members of the Wells College field hockey team earned accolades from the North Eastern Athletic Conference for the week ending Sept. 4.

Junior forward Logan Vincent was named NEAC Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week and freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Kokosa was the NEAC Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week.

Vincent provided the offensive support for the Express in a 2-1 win at Cedar Crest. She scored the game's opening goal and then assisted on the game-winning goal in the second half.  Kokosa made her first collegiate start and made five saves. The only goal that she allowed came on a penalty stroke.

It is the first time that each player has earned a weekly honor from the conference.
