Wells Field Hockey Falls At Ohio Wesleyan

The Wells College field hockey team fell by a score of 8-0 against Ohio Wesleyan on the road Saturday, Sept. 2. The Battling Bishops scored four times in each half. Wells is back in action Sunday, Sept. 3 at The College of Wooster.

Wells had two shots in the game, both recorded by returning All-NEAC selection Kelly Mason.

Freshman goalkeeper Allison Solomon had 15 saves in her collegiate debut.

Ohio Wesleyan had 14 penalty corners to two for the Express.

Earlier this week, Wells was picked to finish first in the 2017 NEAC Field Hockey Preseason Coaches Poll. Wells has won the last two NEAC titles.
