The Wells College field hockey team made its home debut Wednesday, Sept. 6 and fell to visiting Nazareth by an 8-0 score at the Wells Turf Field.
Nazareth scored five goals in the first half and three in the second half.
Wells had two penalty corners and three shots in the match.
Freshman goalkeeper Allison Solomon made double-digit saves for the third consecutive game. She totaled 16 saves in Wednesday's game against Nazareth.
The Express continues a three-game homestand with games this weekend against Morrisville on Saturday at 1 p.m. and against Cedar Crest on Sunday at noon.
