The Wells College field hockey team dropped a non-conference game at SUNY Oneonta on Wednesday, Sept. 13. The host Red Dragons won by a 9-0 score. Wells goalkeeper Allison Solomon made 16 saves.
Solomon has made double-digit saves in all six Wells games this year and has a .692 save percentage. Oneonta led 7-0 at halftime and added two more goals in the second half.
Kate Wells had three shots and Nicole Sales had two shots for the Express.
Oneonta improved its record to 3-2 on the year. Wells is 0-6 on the season and returns to action Saturday at home against Oswego State at 1 p.m.
