The Wells College field hockey team went on the road and fell by a 9-0 score at St. Lawrence University on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 9 The Saints improved to 4-6 overall and Wells is 1-10.

St. Lawrence scored eight first-half goals and added one more in the second half.

Allison Solomon made 11 saves. Katherine Pryor had two defensive saves. Whitney Coleman and Ivy Cromp each recorded a shot.

Wells plays at home Saturday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m. against Keuka College in a North Eastern Athletic Conference matchup.  The Express will honor seniors Ivy Cromp and Katherine Pryor as part of the team's senior day ceremony prior to the game.
