The Wells College field hockey team played a much better second half in allowing four goals before ultimately falling to Sage University, 13-0 on Friday, Sept. 27.
The best quarter for the Express was the third, when they played the Gators even on the scoreboard.
Sabrina Burns recorded another double-digit save performance with 17 that included five saves each in three of the four quarters and a pair of saves in the other quarter. With her 17 saves against Sage, the freshman goalkeeper went over 100 for the season.
The Express embark on a three-game homestand next in October with a pair of contests next weekend beginning with Lancaster Bible on Saturday, Oct. 5 and followed on Sunday, Oct. 6 against Morrisville.
