On Thursday night the Wells College field hockey team took on Keuka College. The Wolves would win this one 8-0.
This has been a busy week for the Express who had road games on Monday, Tuesday, and this evening. Keuka College started the scoring off in the 8th minute seizing a 1-0 lead. Erin Patterson would then score back-to-back goals in the 20th and 23rd minutes. The Wolves would cap off the half with one more goal and take a 4-0 lead into halftime. The Express offense struggled to produce goal-scoring opportunities with only 7 total shots compared to the Wolves' 33. Eve Kowalczyk stopped 16 shots which is her third-highest mark on the season.
Field Hockey will be back in action next Thursday at Sage College.
