HOBART TOPS EXPRESS IN MEN'S BASKETBALL

Aurora, New York – The Express men's basketball team could not keep up with Hobart College as three different players scored in double figures en-route to a 74-62 victory over Wells on Saturday night at Hobart. Darrell Bullock recorded a double-double scoring a game high 27 points and 10-rebounds to lead the Express.

The Express pulled even, 19-19, early in the first half on a breakaway dunk by Bullock, but sophomore Tim Llewellyn answered with a three-pointer at the other end of the floor to put Hobart in front for good.

The Statesmen led 31-25 at halftime and saw its lead fluctuate between three and 15 in the second half, leading by 10 or more over the final eight minutes of the contest.

Wells shot just 36.2 percent from the floor (5-16 from behind the arc) and knocked down 15-of-27 from the free throw line.

With the loss Wells falls t 1-6 on the season while Hobart improves to 2-4.

The Express will next play Morrisville State College on Tuesday, December 9th at 8:30 pm at Cayuga Community College.
