PAULINO, WELLS RANK AMONGST BEST IN THE NATION

Aurora, N.Y.–  Senior center Juan Paulino (Bronx, N.Y./Finger Lakes C.C.) of the Wells men's basketball team continues to be one of the best post players in Division III. Through February 9, Paulino ranks first in the nation in rebounds at 14.9, first in field goal percentage at 70 percent, while ranking 12th in the nation in block shots at 2.6.

Paulino has been named North Eastern Athletic Conference Student-Athlete of the Week twice, while recording 17 double-doubles in 19 games, including nine straight. He has recorded at least 15 rebounds in a game ten times this season. Even more impressive, Paulino is averaging less than three missed shots and three turnovers per game. 

As a team, in just their second year as a Division III basketball program, Wells is ranked 13th in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 83.3 ppg, while ranking 12th in field goal percentage at 49.9 and second in the nation in assists per game at 19.2.

With an overall record of 14-6, the Express will go for a team record 15th win today against the Morrisville State Mustangs at 7:00 pm in Aurora, N.Y.
