EXPRESS ROUT WILDCATS IN NEAC VICTORY

(Cazenovia, N.Y.)─ Terry Harrison (Brooklyn, N.Y./Forest Hills) led four Wells players in double figures with a game high 27 points and 14 rebounds as the Express routed the Cazenovia College Wildcats 83-61 in North Eastern Athletic Conference men's basketball action Wednesday evening in Cazenovia. The Express remain unbeaten in the NEAC at 2-0 (2-4 overall), while the Wildcats fall to 0-1 in conference, 1-2 overall.
 
Dave Foltz (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) added 16 points, Mabior Mayen (Syracuse, N.Y./Nottingham) tallied his fourth double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four blocks, while Benito Perez (Crystal City, Texas/Crystal City) chipped in with 10 points to lead the Express.
 
Cameron Smith paced the Wildcats with 14 points and eight rebounds, while Bryant Winans added 14 points.
 
The Express were hot from the floor, shooting 42.7 percent for the game, including 47.1 percent in the second half. The Wildcats shot just 31 percent from the field and were dominated on the glass, 46-33.
 
The Express jumped out to a quick 16-2 lead and Harrison scored 18 of 27 points in the first half as Wells held a 40-25 lead at the break. The Wildcats would climb to within seven points early in the second half, but the Express answered with 10 straight points and never looked back, cruising to the 22 point victory.
 
Wells returns home next to take on NEAC opponent Gallaudet University on Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in Aurora.
