MEN'S BASKETBALL DRAWS OSWEGO STATE IN FIRST ROUND

(Aurora, N.Y.)─ The Wells College men's basketball team (17-11) will be taking on the Oswego State University Lakers (23-4) in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament released by the NCAA during their selection show Monday afternoon. The two teams are set to square off on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Max Ziel Gymnasium on the campus of Oswego State.  
 
The Express will be making their first trip to the NCAA tournament in just their third year as a program, while Oswego State will make their first appearance in 88 years as a program.
 
The Express earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament after defeating Penn. St. Harrisburg 75-72 in overtime of the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship Sunday afternoon.
 
The Lakers of Oswego State earned one of 18 at-large bids from the NCAA Basketball Committee after falling as the No. 1 seed to SUNY Brockport in the semifinals of the SUNYAC Championship Tournament held this past weekend.
 
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students with valid ID.  The Oswego State Campus Center Box Office hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Wednesday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday through Friday and may be reached at (315) 312-3073.  Online tickets may be purchased at tickets.oswego.edu beginning Tuesday, March 1 at 10 a.m.  Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
