BALANCED ATTACKED FUELS EXPRESS PAST NITTANY LIONS

(Abington, Pa.)─ The Wells College men's basketball team made it two straight wins with a 72-65 victory over the Penn. St. Abington Nittany Lions Sunday afternoon in Abington, Pa. Terry Harrison (Brooklyn, N.Y./Forest Hills) paced the Express with 22 points and 11 rebounds. The Express improve to 5-9 (5-3 NEAC), while the Nittany Lions fall to 2-10 (1-8 NEAC).
 
The Express had four players in double figures including Mabior Mayen (Syracuse, N.Y./Nottingham) with 16 points and nine rebounds, Dave Foltz (Auburn, N.Y./Auburn) with 16 points and seven rebounds while Benito Perez (Crystal City, Texas/Crystal City) added 13 points and seven rebounds.
 
Alton William led Abington with a game high 26 points. Joshua Howard added 15 points and seven rebounds while Donald De Leo chipped in with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
 
The Expressed led the entire game, jumping out to an early 12-3 lead and holding off the Nittany Lions the entire half as they would entire the break up 37-31. The Nittany Lions would climb to within two, twice, during the second half but the Express refused to break, as they would hold on to the seven point conference victory.
 
The Express return to action on Tuesday against NEAC opponent SUNY Cobleskill at 8 p.m. in Cobleskill, N.Y.
