Men's Basketball Beaten By Morrisville

The Wells College men's basketball team lost 97-67 at Morrisville State College on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Mustangs improved to 3-0 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference and are 4-4 overall. Wells is 1-7 overall and 1-2 in the NEAC.

Three players scored in double figures for the Express. Rich Ross had 18 points and 10 rebounds. David Dames scored 14 points and led the team with 13 rebounds, including seven offensive boards. Macho DeJesus had 14 points.

Morrisville held a 51-27 lead at halftime.

Wells returns to action Dec. 29 and 30 at the Sudeck Holiday Tournament hosted by Case Western Reserve University. In the first round, Wells faces Washington & Jefferson at 5 p.m. on Dec. 29. The other semifinal is Alfred University against host school Case Western Reserve.
