Men's Basketball Drops Season Finale At Cobleskill

The Wells College men's basketball team fell by a score of 81-76 at SUNY Cobleskill in the season finale for both teams on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Iorio Gymnasium.

Wells finished with a 7-18 overall record and was 5-11 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference. Cobleskill is 8-17 with a 5-11 NEAC record.

Wells trailed 28-22 in the first half but answered with eight points in a row to take a 30-28 lead. The Express used another run, scoring seven straight points to close the first half, and led 39-36 at halftime.

Wells held its final lead of the game at 48-46 with 13:44 left in the second half. Cobleskill went on a 13-4 run and never trailed again.

Rich Ross led Wells with 24 points and 13 rebounds. David Dames scored 13 points with six rebounds. Zach D'Arpino scored 12 and Tyree Fisher added 10 points for the Express.
