Men’s Basketball Team Falls to Morrisville

The Wells College men's basketball team dropped its road contest at Morrisville State on Wednesday, Jan. 15 by a 90-67 score. The Express had four double-digit scorers but it wasn't enough to carry the team to a victory.

Morrisville came out with a hot start and enjoyed a comfortable lead until the Express rallied midway through the first half. Jalen Feliz ended a 7-0 run with a layup that got Wells within four points at 29-25 before Morrisville regained its momentum.

Ty McBride led Wells with 18 points that included half that total via beyond the arc. McBride also registered five rebounds and four steals. Feliz and Keian Montero each scored 14 points. Feliz had a team-high six boards to go with four steals, while Montero led the team in assists with five. Jalen Tribble was the team's fourth double-digit scorer with 13.

After three-consecutive road games, the men's basketball team returns home to face Cobleskill State on Jan. 18 at 1 p.m.
