HALLETT SCORES TWO IN SEASON FINALE

Aurora, NY – The Wells men's lacrosse team dropped their final game of the 2009 season 21-5 to Cazenovia on Thursday afternoon. With the loss the Express finish the season at 0-12 while the Wildcats improve to 6-8 on the season.

The Express jumped out to a quick 3-1 lead on goals by Tom Torres (Shirley), Kenneth Edmonds (Rochester), and Kylan Hallett (Basom). The Wildcats would tie the game up with 18 seconds left in the 1st quarter and would go on to score eight unanswered goals as they would head into halftime with a 12-4 lead.

Court Carnahan (Rochester) would score the lone Express goal in the second half as the Wildcats ballooned their lead to 16 goals as they would cruise to the NEAC conference victory.

 Hallett led the Express offense with two goals and one assist while goalie David Kaus (Erie, PA) finished with 18 saves in the loss.
