Aurora, NY – The Wells College men's lacrosse team fell 19-2 to the Griffins of Gwynedd-Mercy on Saturday afternoon in Aurora. With the loss the Express fall to 0-11 while the Griffins improve to 6-8 on the season.
Gwynedd used a steady attack of shots and solid defense, holding the Express to just nine shots while putting 58 shots of their own on net. The Express received scoring from Matthew Crandall and Kylan Hallett while Kyle Brimm finished with 13 saves splitting time with David Kaus who finished with three saves in net.
The Express will close out the 2009 season against Cazenovia College on Thursday, April 30th at 4:30 pm in Cazenovia.
