JENKINS ANNOUNCES 2012 MEN'S LACROSSE CAPTAINS

AURORA, N.Y. - Wells College head men's lacrosse coach Bryan Jenkins has named senior John Mulcahey and junior Daniel Munsell as captains for the 2012 season. 

The duo will lead the Express (3-9 in 2011) into their fifth season of varsity competition when they begin March 3rd at Alvernia College in Reading, PA.

Munsell is a second-year captain who has been a part of every win in Wells men's lacrosse history and started every game since coming to Aurora.  As a freshman, Munsell earned first team all NEAC while scoring 25 goals and 7 assists and setting a school record with 80 ground balls.  In his second year, Munsell earned second team all conference netting 27 goals and 4 assists.

Mulcahey is entering his senior year for the Express.  Mulcahey transferred from Cayuga Community College, where he totaled 30 points in two seasons, and immediately made an impact on and off the field.  He finished the 2011 season with 20 goals and 21 assists earning second team all conference honors.
