Two Express Named to All-Conference Squad

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced the 2012 Men's Lacrosse All Conference selections with team honors awarded by position, as selected by the conference's Head Coaches. Freshman goaltender Christopher Galluzzo (New London, N.H.) and freshman defenseman Hayden Shuster (Careywood, Idaho) each earned Third Team All-Conference recognition.

Galluzzo made 13 appearances for the Express as a freshman, including 12 in goal for Wells College. He made a team-best 130 saves across 584:40 of action alongside a 13.24 goals-against average and posted a season-high mark of 23 saves against Morrisville State. Galluzzo earned NEAC Defensive Player of the Week on Mar. 20 after collecting a victory against Mount Saint Vincent College, halting 11 shots on net.

Shuster saw action in all 14 games for the Express on defense, scooping up 48 ground balls and causing a team-best 27 turnovers. He ranked third in the conference with 27 caused turnovers, trailing the conference leader by only five.
