Wells Men's Lacrosse Falls At Medaille

The Wells College men's lacrosse team went on the road and fell by a 14-5 score at Medaille College on Wednesday, April 24. Four players accounted for the five Wells goals in the game.

The host Mavericks scored four straight goals in the first quarter, before Wells got on the board with a goal from Cash Lawson assisted by Dalibor Hanes. Quinten Battle scored a man-up goal for the Express in the second quarter assisted by Nathan Ramsey.

Ramsey scored in the third quarter on an assist from Lawson. Wells scored twice in the fourth with goals by Cash Lawson and Aaron Ramsey. Lawson's was a man-up goal assisted by Battle and Ramsey's goal was unassisted. It was the first goal of the two-year career for Aaron Ramsey.

Justin Dude led Wells with four caused turnovers. Lawson had seven ground balls. Trevor Stein made eight saves.

Wells closes its season Saturday at Cazenovia College with a 1 p.m. game.
