Ryan Dwyer enters
his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Wells College men's
lacrosse program.
Prior to this year, Dwyer served as the Head Club Lacrosse Coach
at Ripon College in Ripon, Wisc. For four seasons, Dwyer piloted
the Red Hawks, competitors in the Great Lakes Lacrosse League. In
addition to his tenure at Ripon, Dwyer has also served as the
National Coordinator of the National Alliance for Youth Sports'
"Hook A Kid On Golf" program in West Palm Beach, Fla.
A 2008 graduate of Wells College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
History, Dwyer was a member of the Wells men's lacrosse program
during its inaugural season in 2008. In 2008, he was selected
as the Lesley Wead Zabriskie Express Award recipient as the
men's lacrosse player who "embodies the true ideals of team
commitment, leadership, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship."
A member of the Department of Athletics Work Study staff as an
undergraduate, Dwyer assisted the Sports Information office
with many duties and was known across campus as "The Voice of the
Express". In addition to his coaching duties, Dwyer also
serves the college as an Admissions Counselor.
