The Express (3-4-1) pulled within one goal with just over ten minutes to play, but couldn't find the equalizer as SUNY IT (6-6-0) defeated the Wells College Men's Soccer Team 4-1 on Saturday in Rome, NY.
With the Express down by two goals and less than 15-minutes to play in the game, Delroy Roberts scored an unassisted goal to bring the score to 2-1. It would not be the Express' day as SUNY IT answered right back with their third goal of the game just three minutes later, and then added an insurance goal with eight minutes left to make it 4-1.
Goalie Nick Accordino finished with seven saves for the Express.
The Men's Soccer Team will next play St. John Fisher on Tuesday, October 7th, at 7:00 pm.
