EXPRESS FALL IN FINAL MINUTE

Bradford, PA –The Pitt-Bradford Panthers scored with 40-seconds remaining, breaking a 1-1 tie, as the Wells men's soccer team fell 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon at Bradford.  Justin Rigney scored the lone goal for the Express while Nick Accordino finished with seven saves in the loss. Wells falls to 4-10 on the season while Pitt-Bradford improves to 2-11.

Both teams played to a scoreless first half with the Panthers holding a 10-9 advantage in shots. Pitt. would jump out quickly in the second half, scoring just 21-seconds into the half, giving the Panthers a 1-0 lead. Rigney would knot the game up at one for the Express, scoring an unassisted goal at 73:52. The Panthers would give one last push as Kyle Warner found the back of the net in the final minute to seal the victory for Pitt-Bradford.

The Panthers held a 22-16 advantage in shots while the Express held the advantage in corner kick 6-4.

The Express will next host Morrisville State on Thursday, October 15th at 4:00 pm at Wells.
