Philadelphia Biblical scored three minutes into the beginning of each half and held on to defeat the Wells College Express men's soccer team 2-0 Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia. Mike Birklin finished with 12 saves for the Express who fell to 0-5 on the season. Andy Ecker led the Crimson Eagles in net with nine saves while Justin Hays and Phil Haas each scored for PBU who improved to 2-1-1 with the victory. PBU held a 16-11 advantage in shots and a 5-0 advantage in corners.
The Express will look to bounce back on the road against Penn St. Harrisburg on Saturday, September 19 at 2:00 pm in Harrisburg, PA.
