BAYLY AND ROBERTS LEAD WELLS PAST ABINGTON

ABINGTON, Pa. – Senior Delroy Roberts (Kingston, Jamaica/Schenectady) scored five minutes into the first overtime propelling the Wells College men's soccer team (3-1, 1-0 NEAC) past the Penn. St. Abington Nittany Lions 1-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men's soccer action Saturday afternoon in Abington, Pa. Sophomore goaltender C.J. Bayly (Waymart, Pa./Western Wayne) was sensational in net for the Express finishing with 12 saves in the shutout victory. The win over Abington (0-2, 0-1 NEAC) is the first for Wells who has now won three straight games.

After tallying just one shot on net in the first half, the Express would pick up the pressure in the second, firing 10 shots and putting four on goal. The offensive surge would carry into the overtime period as J.P Rosas (Guayaquil, Ecuador) found Roberts for his third goal of the season. 

Abington fired 26 shots in regulation but Bayly would be up to the challenge stopping all 12 shots that made it on goal, while the defense would hold Abington without a shot the entire OT period.

The Express will look to make it four straight tomorrow afternoon when the take on NEAC opponent Penn. St. Berks at 12 p.m. in Reading, Pa.
