EXPRESS MEN CRUISE TO FOURTH STRAIGHT VICTORY

HAMBURG, Pa. – Senior Delroy Roberts (Kingston, Jamaica/Schenectady) notched a hat trick on five shots as the Wells College men's soccer team rolled over the Penn. St. Berks Nittany Lions 4-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men's soccer action Sunday afternoon in Hamburg, Pa. With the victory the Express have now won four straight games and improve to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in the NEAC. Berks remains winless at 0-5 (0-2 NEAC).

Jonathan Mulcahey (Fulton, N.Y./Cayuga Community College) tallied his first goal of the year while Adam Sullivan (Ithaca, N.Y./Ithaca) and Patrick O'Callaghan (Seldon, N.Y./St. John the Baptist) each added an assists for the Express. C.J. Bayly (Seldon, N.Y./St. John the Baptist) earned the victory in net with one save.

Mulcahey gave the Express a 1-0 lead sniping a shot right corner on a pass out of mid-air from Sullivan. Five minutes later, Roberts found the back of the net on a cross from O'Callaghan for 2-0 lead that would hold heading into the break.

Roberts again found the back of the net in the 65th minute; this time breaking in all alone and beating the keeper to the left for a commanding 3-0 lead. The fourth and final goal came in the 71st minute as Roberts completed the hat trick, dribbling in and finding the back of the net for a 4-0 lead.

The Express outshot Berks 17-5 and held the advantage in corner kicks 9-5.
