Second-Half Comeback For Lancaster Bible Over Wells

The Wells College men's soccer team fell by a 4-1 score at Lancaster Bible College on Sunday, Sept. 30. The Express held a halftime lead but LBC rallied for the victory in a North Eastern Athletic Conference match at Lancaster, Pa.

The Express took a 1-0 lead off of a corner kick in the 27th minute. Justin Butler delivered the cross and Kevin Schrank rose to head in the opening goal. It was the first goal of the year for Schrank and the third assist of the season for Butler.

Lancaster Bible scored three goals in a span of seven minutes in the second half to take control, and added a fourth with five minutes remaining.

Colton Jaquith had six saves for Wells.

Wells is 2-9-0 and 1-5-0 in the NEAC. Lancaster Bible is 4-4-1 overall and 3-2-0 overall.

Wells is back home Wednesday, Oct. 3 for a 4 p.m. game against Elmira College.
