All-NEAC Men's Soccer Honors For Vargas, Garavito

Two Wells College men's soccer student-athletes earned North Eastern Athletic Conference honors for the 2018 season. Junior midfielder Junger Vargas was voted to the NEAC Second Team and junior forward Christian Garavito was voted to the NEAC Third Team by opposing coaches. It is the second time in each player's career that he has been named to an all-conference team.

Vargas, from Islip, New York, earned a place on the NEAC Second Team for the second year in a row. Vargas led Wells with seven assists and added five goals. He ranked second on the team with 17 points, and 15 of his 17 points came in NEAC matches. He had a goal and two assists in a 4-2 win at Cazenovia.

Garavito, from Islip Township, New York, earned NEAC Third Team honors for the second time in his career. He was also picked to the NEAC Third Team following the 2016 season. Garavito missed the 2017 season due to injury, but picked up his stellar play this season. He led the team with 11 goals and 24 points. He scored two goals in a win over Hilbert and added two goals in the season-ending match against SUNY Cobleskill.
