Men’s Soccer Team Falls to PSU-Abington

The Wells College men's soccer team dropped a 6-1 road contest at Penn State-Abington on Saturday, Oct. 19. The Nittany Lions began the day in fourth place in North Eastern Athletic Conference standings and depending upon other team results may have climbed higher.

Abington took a 2-0 lead into the break and added three more goals in the second half before Wells' Ben Rabe got the Express on the board. Rabe's tally came from Michael Bove at about the 80th minute of the contest. Abington would close out the scoring with the game's last goal in the final 10 minutes of play.

Colton Jaquith split time in the Wells' net with Kingsley Ehling with the pair combining for five saves. Christian Garavito, Jimmy Stover and Rabe each had a pair of shots offensively, with a single shots from Ryan Nugent from Bove.

The men's soccer team returns home next weekend to host Penn State-Harrisburg with a 1 p.m. start on Saturday, Oct. 26.
