SWIMMING HAS STRONG SHOWING AT SUNY BROCKPORT

The Wells College men's and women's swim team came up just short against SUNY Brockport as the men lost 99-56 and the women lost 112-106 Thursday at SUNY Brockport. Seven different swimmers placed first in seven events on the day for the Express.

HIGHLIGHTS
Jackie Ross finished first in the Women 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:08.9. Alli Beck, Ashley Reed and Tiffany Raymond placed 1,2,3 respectively in the women's 100 Yard Freestyle, while Christopher Guard, Justin Zehr, and Bryant Sanders also placed 1,2,3 in the men's 100 Yard Freestyle. 

Idolyn Villiotti, Beveryly Bauman, and Chelsea McGowan finished 1,2,3 in the women's 100 Yard Backstroke, while Collen Keegan and Kelsey Stafford placed first and second in the women's 500 Yard Freestyle.

Wells again placed 1,2,3 in both the men's and women's 100 yard backstroke with Lydia Chapman leading the way for the women while Kristopher Bradt led the way for the men. 

The Express swim teams will next compete against William Smith College on Tuesday, November 4th, at 7:00 pm at William Smith.
