KINGS COLLEGE OVER POWERS EXPRESS

Aurora, New York – The Kings College swim team proved to be to much as they rolled over Wells 89-24 in the women's meet and 62-40 in the men's meet.

The men's meet was highlighted by Drew Teter who won the 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 24.68 edging out Kings swimmer Eric Stencovage (25.12). Teter broke his own record in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 54.34. Teter previously set the record on November 15th with a time of 54.69.

Lydia Chapman also had a first place finish in the 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:42.71 blowing her nearest competitor away by over 11-seconds.

Other notables were Chris Guard who finished first in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:23.50 and the men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay team (Drew Teter, Court Carnahan, Anthony Monochino, and Chris Guard) which placed first with a time of 1:45.28 besting their top time of 1:46.01 set on November 15th.

Wells will now head into their longest stretch of the season without a meet with over three weeks off until they head to Buffalo State College on January 14th at 4:00 pm for their next swim meet.
