RECORDS FALL ON DAY 3 OF SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP

Syracuse N.Y.–  The Wells men's swimming team continued to set team records on Saturday afternoon, setting three new school records at the N.Y. State Swimming Championship at Nottingham H.S. in Syracuse. The men's 400 Yard Medley Relay team was the only event the Express qualified to swim in the evening final. The team finished with a time of 3:35.86 good for 14th in the A relay group.

Jeffrey Dick continued his torrid streak at the championships setting a new school record in the men's 200 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:22.80. Anthony Monachino finished with 3rd fastest time in school history with a time of 2:47.50, while Evando Nascimento took over eight seconds off his personal best time to finish with the 5th fastest time in school history at 3:11.40.

In the men's 200 Yard Butterfly, Daniel Schilling set a new school record with a time of 2:27.02, improving on his previous record holding time of 2:30.38.

Rounding out the men's action, Drew Teter set a new school record in the men's 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 52.13, besting his previous record of 52.68.
