SWIMMING FINISHES THIRD AT MANSFIELD

Mansfield, PA The Wells College women's swim team finished in third place with 79 points in the tri-meet featuring Mansfield University and Pitt-Bradford on Saturday afternoon at Mansfield. Mansfield took first with 144 points, while Bradford finished second with 133 points. In men's action Wells fell to Pitt-Bradford 145-67.

Idolyn Villiotti paced the women's team with a first place finish in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:40.82 and a second place finish in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:14.33. 

In men's team action Jeffrey Dick finished first in the 100 Yard Breast Stroke with a time of 1:08.18, while setting a new school record in the 200 Yard Breast Stroke with a time of 2:35.42. Daniel Schilling took first in the 200 Yard Butterfly with a time of 2:31.47 setting a new school record. Drew Teter rounded out the men's action with a second place finish in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of :55.12. 

Both the men's and women's swim team return to the pool next on Saturday, January 30 at 1:00 pm when they take on Cazenovia and William Smith in the last home meet of the year.
