MEN'S SWIMMING MAINTAINS SECOND AFTER DAY TWO

CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The men's swimming team is currently second in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) with 335 points trailing championship leader Gallaudet University by 54 points (389) heading into the third and final day tomorrow on the campus of Cazenovia College.

The 200 Yard Medley Relay Team of Thomas Laier (East Nassua, N.Y.), Zachary Divornicky-Raymond (Hector, N.Y.), Taylor Dunn (Williamstown, Mass.), and Matt Sleezer (Gloversville, N.Y.) got the Express off to a solid start placing first and setting the NEAC record with a time of 1:46.98 while also simultaneously setting the all-time mark at Wells in the event.

Chris Guard  (Youngstown, N.Y.) earned a first place finish in the 400 Yard I.M. touching the wall in 5:00.31 nearly 30-seconds ahead of the second place finisher. Dunn earned a first place finish in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 59.28.

Zachary Divornicky-Raymond placed second in the 100 Breaststroke, improving his second all-time mark at Wells with a time of 1:05.93. Matt Sleezer earned a second place finish in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:01.67 to round out the top finishers for Wells

Cazenovia currently stands in third with 224 points while Cobleskill sits in fourth with 193 points.
