Men's Swimming Returns To Action At Pitt-Bradford

The Wells College men's swimming team returned to competitive action for the first time since early December in a tri-meet hosted by Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, Jan. 20. The host Pitt-Bradford Panthers defeated Wells 124-52 and Penn State Behrend won by a score of 171-25.

The Wells 400-yard medley relay of Arthur Brooks, Ian Ronan, Shawn Snell, and Aaron Connolly finished fourth in 4:48.94.

Brandon Sprague swam 21:38.48 in the 1,650-yard freestyle for a sixth-place finish. He took fifth in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:25.66.

Brooks was sixth and Ronan was seventh in the 200-yard individual medley. Brooks clocked in at 2:33.78 and Ronan finished in 2:34.63.

Ronan was fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:41.90.

Richard Ford was fifth in the 200-yard butterfly in 3:03.39.

Owen May was fourth in the 500 free in 5:55.12.

Wells returns to action with a mid-week meet Wednesday at home at 6 p.m. against SUNY Delhi. It will be the team's Senior Meet and prior to competition the Express will honor seniors Arthur Brooks, Owen May, Ian Ronan, and Shawn Snell.
