Men's Swimmers Back In Action At Buffalo State

The Wells College men's swimming team was back in the pool Saturday, Jan. 12 and lost a pair of dual meets hosted by Buffalo State. Pitt-Bradford defeated Wells 104-47 and Buffalo State won by a score of 168-39.

Four Wells swimmers participated in the meet and Brandon Sprague, Josh Rose, Jose Ramirez, and Richie Ford won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 2:23.43 as the opponent relays swam in exhibition.

Ramirez was third in the 100-yard backstroke and fourth in the 200-yard backstroke.

Rose was third in both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events.

Ford was second in the 200-yard individual medley and fifth in the 200-yard butterfly.

Sprague was fifth in the 500 free.

Wells will host a home meet Tuesday, Jan. 15 against Penn State Altoona at 1 p.m.
