Sprague Honored On Senior Day

The Wells College men's swimming team competed in its final home meet of the 2018-19 season and lost to visiting Penn State Altoona on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the Schwartz Athletic Center. The Nittany Lions won by a score of 73-3.

Bandon Sprague, a senior captain from Brockton, Mass., was honored prior to the final home meet of his Wells career. He is a biology major with a minor in business. He competed in the 1,000-yard freestyle where he finished third and in the 100-yard backstroke where he also took third place with a time of 1:21.03.

Jose Ramirez was third in the 50-yard freestyle in 31.94 seconds.

Wells will continue its season Saturday, Jan. 19 at Mount Saint Mary for a 1 p.m. meet.
