Men’s Swimming Team Captures Third at NEAC Championships
The Wells College men's swimming team finished third at this year's NEAC Swimming and Diving Championships after a trio of runner-up finishes in the third and final day on Sunday, Feb. 16 at SUNY Cobleskill.
Aaron Connolly finished second twice with runner-up finishes in the 100 IM (1:11.41) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:48.75).
Vincent Chen shared the NEAC Rookie of the Year award with Zachary Walters of SUNY Cobleskill. During the three days of the championships, Chen earned first place in the 100-yard backstroke (1:01.36), as well as a second-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (:24.81) and another second-place in the 100-yard freestyle (:54.03).
The Wells College men's team finished the NEAC Championships with 84 points and held on to their third place position from the first day of the three-day Competition.
