In set two, the Express again took a 2-1 lead on an attacking error and kill by Paul Hernon and, just as before, Thiel rattled off a string of scores to take a 7-2 lead, forcing a Wells time out. Out of the time out, the Express cut the lead to four (8-4) on a kill by Mannix and a service error by Thiel.
