D'YOUVILLE AND PHILADELPHIA BIBLICAL TOP EXPRESS

AURORA, N.Y. – The Wells College men's volleyball team lost 3-0 to D'Youville College and fell 3-0 in their late afternoon match to Philadelphia Biblical on Saturday afternoon in Aurora, N.Y. With the losses the Express fall to 1-12 on the season.

In their first match of the day the Express fell in straight sets 25-11, 25-17, and 25-17 to D'Youville. Caleb Mannix (Chittenango, N.Y. finished the match with seven kills and six digs. Andrew Jacobs (Milburn, N.J.) chipped in with five kills and five digs. CJ Bayly (Waymart, Pa.) added a team high 14 digs and Jessilyn Aki (Kapaa, Hawaii) finished with 10 digs to round out the highlights for Wells.

In their second match of the afternoon the Express fell 25-14, 25-17, and 25-17 to Philadelphia Biblical College. Mannix finished with a team high six kills to go along with 10 digs. Jacobs finished with three kills and a team high 11 digs. Aki finished with eight digs and Bayly finished with six digs for Wells.

The Express return to action tomorrow when they travel to take on Penn. St. Behrend at 2:00 p.m. in Erie, Pa.
