Men's Volleyball Closes Regular Season With Win

The Wells College men's volleyball team closed its 2017 regular season with a 3-0 win over Bard College in a non-conference match Saturday, April 8 at the Schwartz Athletic Center in Aurora, N.Y. Set scores were 25-16, 25-12, 25-16.

Wells is 18-12 overall. Bard is 5-22.

In the match against Bard, Wells hit .278 as a team with 31 kills and 11 errors. Brannon Perdicho led a balanced attack with nine kills. Caden O'Loughlin, Josh Undari, and Jonathan Haines had five kills each. Undari had 16 assists and Scott Litvin had 13 assists. Haines served two aces, and had one solo block with three block assists. Perdicho had 14 digs.

Wells will compete in the North Eastern Athletic Conference playoffs beginning Friday, April 14 with a semifinal match against Lancaster Bible College. The championship tournament will be hosted by Penn State Altoona, the tournament's top seed, who will take on SUNY Polytechnic Institute in the other semifinal on Friday. Saturday's championship match is at 1 p.m.
